It was a great surprise this week to receive a copy of the Herstal Group’s book “125 years in pictures”. Beautifully illustrated with some magnificent machines manufactured by FN over the years and a full colour page featuring my trip with Effie across the world.
Book sales of No Room for Watermelons are going well both online and across the country. We’ve had a few articles featured in newspapers, a couple of book reviews in magazines and received a heap of great reviews from readers (see online).
I’ll be attending the National Veteran Motorcycle Rally in Ararat this year and Effie will be on display at the Motorclassica Show in the beautiful old exhibition building in Melbourne late October and at the Ross Rally, Tasmania in November. Meanwhile, we’re considering our next adventure – with a coast to coast run across the USA and a return to Europe planned. So, some exciting times ahead.
Meanwhile work on the new sidecar continues…watch this space.
